刘艳，博士、教授、硕士生导师、环境损害司法鉴定人。主讲本科生课程《保护生物学》和《生物多样性实验》、研究生课程《资源植物学》和《农业面源污染与生态治理》。曾获“重庆师范大学第四届青年教师教学技能大赛”二等奖、“重庆师范大学优秀共产党员”荣誉称号。主要从事植物生态学研究，招收生态学、植物学学术型硕士研究生和农业专业硕士研究生。具有丰富的野外工作经历，足迹遍及国内主要森林生态系统、三大高原草地和泥炭沼泽湿地。先后主持完成国家级项目1项和省部级项目5项，主持在研省部级项目1项。指导学生完成重庆市级大学生创新创业项目2项。以第一作者或通讯作者在Forest Ecology and Management、Ecological Indicators、Global Ecology and Conservation、Journal of Systematics and Evolution、American Journal of Botany、Taxon、生态学报、生物多样性、应用生态学报等国内外期刊发表论文40篇。担任Plant Diversity、Ecological Indicators、Global Ecology and Conservation、Scientific Reports、Ecology and Evolution、Journal of Bryology、Phytotaxa、生物多样性、应用与环境生物学报等期刊审稿人。
